History of Our Institution

Jalalpur High School was established in 1973 and it is managed by the Department of Education which aims to provide a caring and friendly atmosphere in which each individual can develop his/her potential and talents to the full. The school is committed to the pursuit of excellence in education and to the development of the whole person.

It is located in Rural area. It is located in the heart of Jalalpur , KALIACHAK-1 block of MALDAH district of West Bengal. The school consists of Grades from 5 to 12. The school is Co-educational and it doesn't have an attached pre-primary section. Bengali is the medium of instructions in this school which is affiliated with the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE)..
